A Sense of Place
To me, a sense of place brings feelings of joy, contentment, and a sense of belonging. Not only is it physically appealing to the eye, but it allows me to feel relaxed and euphoric as well. Although a sense of place for some may be places that people have visited many times, the two locations I have chosen are places I have only been once, but I still feel that accurately depict my definition of a sense of place. Cape Kiwanda and Sayulita Mexico are both these places. Not only were these places perfectly beautiful, they were my kind of beautiful. I felt relaxed and completely at peace while visiting these places. A calm sensation that you don't want to leave, and know will only exist for those mere moments while you are in that certain place. I could be by myself or with friends, no matter who these location will always bring me warm fuzzy feelings.
